Please join us for the Romancing the Rose Memorial Rapier Tournament in memory of Lasairiona inghean Uilliam na Seoltadh, White Scarf of An Tir. 

The Royal Company of the Sable Rose, Argent will be hosting the tournament in memory of this wonderful lady.  Whether you are a fighter or not, please join us on Saturday at 5:30pm to help celebrate her life by doing one of the things she loved best – rapier fighting. 

The tournament will be held as a sweet sixteen format with as many fields as necessary based on the number of fighters who enter the lists (everyone fights everyone else on their field).  The top two winners from each field will then go on to fight double elimination until a winner is determined. 

All fighters will fight in honor of Lasairiona, but as in all Sable Rose Tournaments, you will be required to have a lady or lord for whom you find your inspiration upon the field.

There will be an area for the ladies to view the fields and they will be asked to watch the fighting and determine who amongst the fighters embodies Lasairiona’s motto: “Lead by example; Word and deed.” 

This lady was a warrior, mentor and friend to all who knew her.  She fought hardest when the odds were against her and she was passionate about rapier fighting.  Join us in celebrating her passion!
