like (ideas and opinions welcomed). If nothing is brought to the table
we'll start with a clarification of the rules. Than move onto
varous other topics (injury prevention, ettiquite, perceptions, etc).
This will be moderated by Don William Bennet. The Arte of not Sucking - Theory Description - This is the theory part of the course. ANyone wanting the informaiton without the time commitment can take just this course. Those taking the paractical part need to take this part too! This class is borrowed form Don Propere. The contents of this course will help small to large groups to improve their fighting skill. The contents of this course will show how to direct your own improvement with the assistance of a learning partner or group. Instructor: Don William Bennet The Arte of not Sucking - Hands On! Instructor: Don William Bennet The Basic fundamentals that no on uses Description - This class will cover many of the 'basic' skill that fighters tend to leave behind in ther development. Building on the theory that advanced skills are just basic skills put together and done well. Participants will rediscover the fundamentals that are the foundations of a solid skill set. Instructor: Don William Bennet Gaining Measure - footwork In order to close measure or gain range, one must have confident and safe footwork. This class is a practical session where we will spend time refining stance, movement and footwork. AS well, there will be exercises to practice gaining or distancing yourself form range.
