Sheraton Bloomington Hotel - Minneapolis South, Minnesota
Join practitioners, teachers and students of the Arts of Defence from across the Known World for a
weekend full of classes, learning, friendship and fun. Classes will include rapier combat, historical
combat, youth rapier, and more.
Preliminary Event Schedule:
- Friday afternoon: private tour of the Oakeshotte Institute (pre-registration/pre-payment is required for the tour).
- Friday evening: KWAR Welcome Reception (cash bar)
- Saturday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM - Classes
- Sunday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM - Classes
Event Registration Fees:
Adult Fees:
- $25 - Early Bird Pre-Registration (postmarked before 1 September 2007)
- $27 - Regular Pre-Registration (postmarked between 1 September and 15 November 2007)
- $30 - On site (not pre-registered)
- $ 3 - Non-Member Surcharge applies to all adult site fees if you cannot provide proof of membership
Youth Fees:
Youth are defined as gentles between the ages of 14 and 17. Children under age 14 may attend for free, but be aware that there will be no scheduled children's activities and young children may get restless in the classes.

Special Prices:
- $20 - Saturday-only attendance
- $15 - Sunday-only attendance

- $25 - Oakeshotte tour (pre-registration and prepayment is required)
Pre-registration:
- Event pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
- Online pre-registration will be available soon using the ACCEPS payment system.
- You can also visit http://www.kwar2007.org to either download a PDF of the form (in PDF) to complete it by hand or complete
the form online and print it for mailing in.
- Pre-registration and pre-payment is required for the Oakeshotte Institute tour. Group transportation will be arranged and
included.
Registration Notes:
Your event fees will cover the site fee and the KWAR proceedings. Lodging fees and reservations are handled separately from
the event fees, directly through the hotel.
Lodging & Event Site:
KWAR 2007 will be held at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel – Minneapolis South, 7800 Normandale Boulevard, Minneapolis,
MN 55439. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to the Minneapolis/Saint Paul International Airport (approx. five
miles) and to the Mall of America (approx. two miles).
A special rate for rooms has been secured and is available until October 28, 2007 – be sure to mention the event. Call (952)

PLEASE NOTE: no meals will be provided by the event/at the hotel. However, extended lunch breaks will be scheduled each day to
allow attendees to procure sustenance at the hotel, at nearby local establishments, or to have meals delivered to the hotel. Please
check the event website or with Event Hospitality staff for more information about local amenities.
