| Just curious if anyone has started working on this yet? Is there Roving at Clinton War this year? If so, who is running it? For that matter who is the MIC for Clinton?

| We've tried roving rapier a couple of times at Quad. It never works as planned. A few people get together a have a couple of matches/duels, but there's no real commitment to it, like the melees. Does it work at Clinton and if yes, why? |

He told me last night he had some ideas but wanted to know if there was something in the works yet or not. If there is he would like to know who is running it.
Anybody know anything official from the event MIC about rapier at clinton this year?

I'll be Rapier MIC at Clinton - they should drop me a line at warwick@shipdrakkar.com. In fact, anyone who wants to run something or help out in any way should drop me a line.
I'll be posting some official info on the Rapier activities soon. For now here is some informal information.
I'll be running the Warfield. We won't be doing the classic line, castle, champions, though we WILL have several line battles and some castle action. More on this later. There will be RBGs used. There will be special TRPS for the RBGs that will be announced on the battlefield. I'm bringing up the cannon and I hope to discuss with the captains of each side whether they would like to see it in play. Ideally the captains of each side will come visit me at The Dew Drop Inne Friday night for a drink and some planning.
I'll be calling a gathering of all Senior, Junior and wanna-be marshals the Friday Night, and failing that, the Saturday Morning.
Gwydion Redfist has agreed to run the Tavern Brawl.
I still need to confirm people to run Roving Rapier and I would also like to have someone run Scenarios at the End of the World. I've asked a couple people to help me out here and I've had some volunteers for Roving. Nothing has been confirmed yet.
We will need Marshals on the warfield, for Tavern and for Scenarios. Anyone interested in helping out please drop me a line at the above email.

I was looking fwd to the Roving Rapier as well. Glad to hear that its in the works. BTW I won't be showing up to stay until Friday evening. I will be dropping some people off and setting up my encampment surrounded by pirates and mercenaries on Wednesday evening.
I will be fighting, and I'll have to check with Her Highness as to what side I fight for.
