For anyone wo has never been, it's well worth a long trip. The melees will be funner than ever, the tournament turnout is good and the prizes are some of the best I've seen, and the partying lasts until fighting the next morning in most cases.
For those who've never been to an Avacal event, this is the one. |

Man, I wish I could make it. The site, scenario's and people in general are awesome out that way!
My first quad (my second event, the first was winter war) was when I was fresh out of highschool. My second quad was the year after...then I moved to BC...Man, I'm missin out. 
Now all I do is weld...and buddy here pretty much sums up how I feel about that ---->  |

Me and most of my household and students will be attending Quad next year, this year Clinton, next year Quad for sure. Just giving you a heads up.  |

For those of you who didn't make it out to Quad War, y'all missed out on a seriously fun event. Don Raoul planned some excellent melee scenarios, including the H20 powder kegs which I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed in the heat. Also missed out on Dante's 27-shot RBG cannon and the swivel guns. Certainly made the castle battles interesting. Roving rapier and Dante's challenge filled out the weekend.
Hopefully more of you can make it up here next year, you won't be disappointed! |

Glad to hear that the event went well for rapier fighters that made it. Take care and hope to see some more Wars that are entertaining and worth the travel.
