Pretty much the same as anywhere else - stick the pointing end in the bad guy :-)

| Been there several times, and will be there again this year. You'll check in, pay your money, get the schedule of events, then show up with the intent of putting the pointy end into the other guy. The melee scenarios happen over Friday, Saturday and Sunday, ending somewhere between noon and 3 PM on the last day. There's usually a ladies tourney on Thursday, if you plan to be there early enough. |

| The expectation at interkingdom events is that you be inspected by an authorized marshal from your home kingdom. However - if there is no one available, then anyone can inspect - according to Society Minimums. |

Greetings,
I believe An Tir and the West are working together this year, so if you are in doubt, you can always look for the huge gold tent with the green crown on it and ask for Else (our KRM)! So take some time to look at the treaty (on the link that Sebastian provided) to find out what will happen on the field.
Basically you’ll have approximately 100 on each side (yes, sometimes it is very one sided). You should join up with some people you know, or can identify easily, and work as a part of a team. Sometimes there is a lot of standing around and talking, and sometimes there is a huge amount of fighting.
Remember the most important thing, keep hydrated! If offered water, or preferably the Gatorade, take it.
If I remember the meeting at KWAR (I was West’s stand-in KRM), blades will be inspected at the field, while everything else can be checked in camp by the proper personnel.
Since there are some marshals who do their best to yank your sword tips off, I’d suggest that people inspect and test their own equipment before trudging all the way to the fighting field. It’ll save you some headaches!

Well, strictly speaking those are the conventions the 4 KRM's worked out amongst themselves but tht's the ruleset that will be used.
