As I started to say on teh other rules interprestation list ...
what 'can' be done and what 'should' be done are often different things.
In my opinion, what affacts how we view what should be done in various situations is dependant on many things, a few off the top of my head are: - why we play the game
- are we trying to have a good time with our friends?
- are we trying to beat the tar out of our friends?
- how has the person treated you in the past
- where on the spactrum from historic fighter to 'sport' fighter you lie (and I don't mean Olympic fencing here)
- etc.
You will find a few fighters who will simply yield on any touch (ok, this is mostky the ones who don't want to get up off the ground or fight with thier off hand) I am one of these fighters for the most part. "If you hit me, I want to have my doctor look at the would. plus you have proven the rightousness of your cause"
One's actions can be viewed in many ways. It is often a good idea to see what someone was thinknig when they behave in a manor that you view to be in poor form. gently point of how it may look and suggest an alternative solution. William
