Greetings everyone.
I am going to try and start a monthly Cut & Thrust practice to be held at the Madrone Socials. They are on the third Thursday of the month at the Ballard Oddfellows hall. If anyone is interested in attending, please let me know. Combat will be dependant upon having a C&T marshal present, but if we don't have that, we can also just do the ramp up part of this new combat style. I have been doing C&T since it was in it's beginning experimental days and have taken several classes and seminars on various styles of C&T. I would be happy for anyone to attend who would wish to learn about this style, and also anyone who may be knowedgeable to teach it too. Please let me know if you would like to attend, or if you have any questions. The first practice will be held on Thursday 2/15 starting at 7pm. If there are any changes to this time I will post here along with any further updates. For beginners, we probably will not be doing any combat for the first several practices, so a full kit may not be necessary as thers is much learning that can be done before you are actualy ready to try this. Come and see what it is about!
