How about adding "View posts since last visit" function. I know everyone wants to follow every single thread but sometimes I'd like to know only what has happened since I last checked in. |

Well, becasue I do use that but then it shows every single thread I have not read. Now, as I said I am sure everyone reads every single post on every single thread but lazy louts like me. I read those threads that interest me and ignore those that do not. That means after a week or so the list of "Not Read" becomes quite long and I have to go through each forum and "Mark All as Read" or whatever the choice is.
If you added the pretty standard "View Posts Since Last Visit" I would only have to look at those posts made since the last time I logged onto the site. A very efficient and useful way to manage the time I have to spend looking on these and other forums. |

Right - cant help you there then. Seems to work like anywhere else I have been, and I do not have that kind of control over the coding of this forum ;) Perhaps future release will handle that.
Me - I just tend to go into every thread jsut so it does'nt show as new anymore |

| I had a look and all the other forums I visit (like Tir Righ and Classic Castle) all seem to be using something called PhpBB which seems to have the "View posts since last visit" function as a standard feature. I guess every software package has different features. |
